Patricia is the founder of Willow Counseling & Wellness LLC, a licensed professional counselor and a board certified supervisor. She received both her Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Master's degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas.
As a trauma informed therapist, Patricia specializes in working with individuals experiencing, grief and loss, depression management, life transitions, stress and anxiety reduction, multicultural experiences, and PTSD . She incorporates a variety of therapeutic techniques including EMDR therapy, IFS therapy, somatic experiencing, and mindfulness. These techniques help individuals understand their thoughts, feelings, and impulses. She is trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, expressive arts therapy, mindfulness based therapy, mental health diagnosis, and trauma treatment.
Patricia possesses a strong passion and a high level of expertise in supporting licensed mental health professionals, both those who are newly licensed and those with years of experience. She believes healers also need a safe space met with non-judgment and compassion
Here at Willow we believe in having healthy and resilient parents. At times parents have to take time to heal from their own experiences. Patricia is available for parenting support to help parents be the strong caregivers they are meant to be.
