Brittney Feaster is a compassionate and dedicated counselor who is committed to providing individualized therapy tailored to your needs. A Plano, Texas native, Brittney earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Texas A&M University. She later completed her Master of Science in Counseling at Southern Methodist University (SMU). During her clinical training, Brittney gained valuable experience working at The Turning Point and the SMU Center for Family Counseling, where she provided both individual and group therapy. These experiences allowed her to support a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds and helped her develop her expertise as a crisis advocate.
Brittney believes the therapeutic relationship is one of the most powerful catalysts for change. In her practice, she creates a warm, authentic, and accepting space where clients feel heard and understood. She recognizes each person as the expert of their own life and she strives to maintain a collaborative relationship, where the client and counselor work together to better understand their thoughts and emotions.
With a humanistic approach as the foundation of her practice, Brittney believes in the inherent ability of individuals to grow when provided the right environment and tools. Through therapy, clients can harness their inner resources and create meaningful change. Brittney also integrates evidence-based practices such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, expressive arts, and mindfulness techniques to help clients address internal conflicts and regulate their emotions.
Brittney is passionate about creating an environment where clients not only feel supported but also empowered to navigate life's challenges. Whether you're seeking healing from trauma or support through a major life transition, Brittney is dedicated to helping you discover your inner strength and achieve personal growth.
