Isabella approaches therapy from an interpersonal & intersectional perspective. She works to create a therapeutic environment that allows folx to explore various aspects of themselves, their identity, and their culture. She believes that attending to the client's needs will help them access their power and find a sense of safety and calmness. As an interpersonal therapist, she focuses on integrating the client’s relational experiences, thoughts about themselves, and familial experiences.
Isabella sees therapy as a safe place for clients to explore their lived experiences free from judgment. Together, they will explore the impact of the client’s various roles and parts. Clients are in control of their therapeutic journey, but Isabella follows alongside to help clients navigate through their needs. Isabella incorporates a variety of techniques including multicultural, feminist approach, and mindfulness. Isabella has treated various clients with family of origin trauma, abuse, sexual assault, relationship concerns, and more.
Counselor and client will build a connection that supports self-exploration while attending to the changes the client will like to make in their life. Isabella believes all of you is welcome in therapy, and she is ready to meet you where you are.
