Gabrielle Larson is a Licensed Professional Counselor
Gabrielle “Gaby” Larson grew up in Arlington, Texas before moving to Denton to attend Texas Woman’s University (TWU). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in English and later completed her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at TWU.
Gaby works predominantly with adults and has extensive experience supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, abuse, sexual assault, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, sports performance, and more. She has been a therapist at Willow for over five years and values the opportunity to work with clients over longer periods of time, building meaningful therapeutic relationships while helping them navigate life’s challenges. She also has previous experience working in an inpatient mental health hospital and a domestic violence shelter.
Gaby approaches therapy from a humanistic, trauma-informed, and multicultural perspective, honoring each client’s identities, lived experiences, and individual needs. She believes clients are the experts on their own lives and views therapy as a collaborative process, where her role is to walk alongside clients and offer support, insight, and potential pathways for exploration.
Her work integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client, including EMDR, expressive arts, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and emotion-focused therapy. Gaby is intentional about creating a non-judgmental, supportive space where clients feel safe to explore emotions, build self-awareness, and reconnect with their strengths. She believes healing is not a linear journey and feels honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate growth, change, and self-discovery at their own pace.
Fun fact:
Gaby played competitive soccer in college and now enjoys running in her free time. She has two rescue cats and a knack for quoting movies.
